Happy Easter!

It’s Easter right around the corner! All the kids in our neighborhood are on spring break so every evening it’s a party. The kids are cruising in the little kid vehicles and Payton is chasing after them. I am so glad the weather has been great until tonight I guess which it is supposed to change gears. It’s staying dark later so its play time for Payton when we get home! (oh yah, and all day with Fabiola too!)

All of the girls went out shopping last Sunday; it was Grand mum Pam, Payton and I. We had a lovely Italian dinner together but Payton ended up eating almost all of my Sea bass! (and I ate her left over pasta!) As we were leaving Crystal Court, we saw the Easter Bunny down the hall. Payton literally jumped out of my arms, ran up the ramp, and jumped into his lap! This is her very first photo with the Easter Bunny! She loved him; afterwards she sat down at his feet and wanted to stay there. It was hilarious.

A few weekends ago we saw our friends Jordan and Robby and their two daughters Scarlet & Ivy. Scarlet has a cool little chair that is comfy and you can pounce on it. Payton was in it every second we were there. I decided to go out and get her one this past weekend. So I get it home and the first thing she does is steps up on it facing forward, lets it fall back, and then slides over the top of it! She has been using it ever since as a slide. The other thing she likes to do with it is sit in it, lean back to where it falls back, then she starts laughing hysterically. Good time! She is so funny…….no chair, just a toy!

Long Time, No Update!

Its been forever and a day since my last blog post! URGH!!! Yikes!!! Payton is growing up so fast and is now 13 months old! Holy Moses! I haven't had time to blog about Payton's 1st birthday, Madi's birthday (her friend), or anything else! She is so different from month to month.......

She is so much fun to be around. When Sean and I get home from work we take Payton outside to play with all of the neighborhood kids! They all play for a few hours in the evening time. Payton loves to play with balls and thinks she is a big kid. She rides in Holly & Katie's Barbie doll car and also loves to play on the toys in Patsy's yard. We are working on getting our backyard ready for her for the summer! The Pami circle pool will be in full force this summer with all of the kids in our neighborhood. It really is a great place to raise children.

Here are some pictures of Payton & Madi's 1st Birthday! (plus more....:-)

She's Walking!

Yes, it has only been over a month since my last blog posting! YIKES!!! Anywho……around the middle of this month, Payton started to walk really well!!! She had taken a few steps around Christmas time but now she can really walk well. Don’t get me wrong, she has taken a few nasty spills and bonked her head but she is getting the hang of it. I had to run out to get her some serious walking shoes double quick!

She loves to laugh and yell “ma ma” all day long! She has pipes on her too; she is exploring her vocal cords in a real way! (hahahah)

I'll I want for Christmas is my 2 first teeth!

We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. The holiday season is here and we hope you enjoy all of the festivities with your family and friends. Sean and I always create New Year’s resolutions and goals. I am looking forward to 2009 and what this next year has to bring both personally and as a family! Payton will be turning 1 in just a few short months too. We still can’t believe how time is flying by!!

In this past week, Payton has gotten her very first tooth. (actually 2 at one time) She has one coming in on the top and one on the bottom. It only took 10 months for a tooth sighting!!!! (hahaha) Also, yesterday she walked for the first time! She took around 8 steps by herself to walk to me! We couldn’t believe it; we were so excited! We are baby-proofing the house and trying to make sure it is safe for her....she is growing fast!

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all!!!

It’s Christmas Time…..

I can’t believe how quickly the holidays have snuck up on us this year. It was Thanksgiving, then Sean’s birthday, and then Christmas is now just right around the corner! …….Yikes!

Payton had her very first picture with Santa Claus!!! We took it in Fashion Island with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Steve. She loved Santa Claus and he gave her a very nice coloring book. (to chew on! Hahaha) I have a feeling Christmas is going to one of her favorite holidays. The Christmas tree they set up is amazing too. It is the tallest Christmas tree in the United States and stands over 100 feet! It has over 17,000 lights and ornaments, and weighs approximately 20,000 lbs. She loved all of the lights and kids gathered around it.

Happy Birthday Babe!

On December 12th, my sweet husband turned the ripe age of 34!!!! However, as most of you know he is still 13 at heart. (heheheh) We had a lovely dinner with is father and his wife Melissa at one of our favorite seafood restaurants. I planned a nice day of golf for him and his buddies at Eagle Glen golf course the next day. Sean is the best father in the world....Payton truly is her father's daughter. I am so blessed to have such a loving and devoted husband!!!! I love you babe! :-)

On the same day, little Presley turned the BIG 1!!! Yahoooo!!! Our great friend’s Rick and Jill had their lovely daughter on December 12th just 1 year ago. We can’t believe she is already 1. Payton met Presley at Hoag Hospital when she was just 2 days old so they were close from the very start! Happy Birthday Press – we love you! This is a picture of the girls when Payton was just 1 month old and Presley was just over 3 months old...…….best buds in their twin outfits.

Let's give thanks!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving this year over at Pam’s house (Sean’s mom). We celebrated with her side of the family and good friends! We had a great time catching up with the Bower and Cuzzo families. Payton loved all of the people around her. She got into Steve’s magazines and ripped out a few hundred pages and did about 16 laps around the kitchen in high speed!!! (hahaha) She is so active now; we are literally chasing her!

It was a great first Thanksgiving with our little boo. I attached a few pictures below of the festivities.
